Mexican and US tourists speak on Tornos News camera about Athens as a vacation destination

Apart from the Athens Acropolis, the most iconic attraction of the Greek capital from ancient times to the present day, tourists love to wander the narrow streets of the city, where they are inundated with aromas, tastes, conversations, and welcoming smiles from the residents.

Tornos News toured during the last days of November the neighborhood of Psirri, where the pulse of the tourism sector has not stopped beating even in the off-season.

Tourists from Mexico and the USA, who followed the Athens Food Tour of Athens Walking Tours, spoke to us about their experience in Athens, Greek hospitality, as well as the elements that impressed them most about the city.

Tourists told us, among other things, that the prices in eateries are affordable compared to other countries in Europe and that they glorified the relaxed atmosphere of the locals’ pace of life, but also did not overlook the sometimes heavy traffic on the busiest streets.

And, of course, their admiration for the grandeur of Greek civilization centered around the Athens Acropolis itself.
